To ensure accurate focus, the unit includes a built-in camera with a focal length equivalent to 30mm and a field of view of 70°. Depending on the requirements of your shoot, you can toggle between wide-angle, telephoto, and focus spot modes. Additionally, when paired with the RS 4 Pro gimbal, the LiDAR unit activates ActiveTrack Pro, which enhances recognition and tracking performance, especially with multiple subjects or subjects at a distance. For precise cinema-style autofocus, the unit is compatible with the Focus Pro Motor.
Mounting the LiDAR unit onto your RS 3 or 4 Pro series gimbal or camera is convenient, as it can be attached using a cold shoe or a 1/4″-20 thread. Power for the unit is supplied through a USB-C power cable.
